Join us for our general meeting at which we will have an engaging session on water challenges and their impact on our local agricultural community. We’ve invited farmers who serve on the First Collaborative Community Advisory Table (CCAT) in BC, an advisory group to the Government-to-Government (G2G) Table that is leading the development of the Koksilah Water Sustainability Plan (WSP). The WSP will be a legal document, developed under the Water Sustainability Act, that enables the co-development of new provincial regulations—including those that can change how water is allocated and managed for agriculture—to address local water conflicts and support ecosystem health. This meeting is a great opportunity for members to ask questions, share concerns about water, and learn more about the Koksilah Watershed Plan.
